The project consisted of an innovative style change for air conditioning condenser units. DTE designed, fabricated, and proved the dies and additionally created specifications for the customer’s new press and transfer line. DTE has the ability to design, fabricate, and prove one die or an entire flexible manufacturing system.
System Overview
- The overall program consisted of thirty transfer dies.
- There were six different top panels with five dies to fabricate each part.
- The seven month program was delivered on schedule.
